About the Product
The Washceptor W1200SS Vehicle Wash Silt Interceptor features a durable, chemical-resistant high-density polyethylene (HDPE) tank with a generous 1125 litre capacity, built to withstand harsh wash chemicals and environmental conditions. It can manage up to 5,000 wash cycles before requiring emptying, making the W1200SS suitable for high-volume vehicle wash facilities, including larger commercial car washes, fleet depots, and industrial operations.
Unlike the Top Entry (TE) models, the Single Stage units are designed to be installed with a solid access cover instead of grating, as seen on the TE models.
How it works
Drainage from the washdown area, such as yard or road gullies and channel drainage, is connected to the SS model’s inlet pipe. Any silt and debris carried in the flow are then trapped and held in the interceptor tank itself.
The W1200SS boasts a silt retention capacity of 1,500 kg, supporting longer periods of low maintenance based on typical vehicle size and application. This helps reduce operational downtime and improves overall efficiency.
